On the afternoon of November 27, entrusted by Guangdong Power Grid Co., Ltd., Foshan Power Supply Bureau held the acceptance meeting of “Intelligent Dispatching Operation and Control Technology for Power Distribution and Utilization-Topic 4: Research on Practical Technology for Intelligent Diagnosis and Self-recovery Control of Distribution Network Faults”. At the meeting, the expert group listened to the project report, raised questions about the project, and had a heated discussion. Finally, the expert panel unanimously agreed that the project passed the acceptance.
Participants of the acceptance meeting were relevant departments of Foshan University and China Southern Power Grid, experts and leaders of the Digital Research Institute of China Southern Power Grid and Guangdong Power Institute Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and relevant technologists of Beijing Sifang, Dongfang Electronics Co., Ltd., Beijing CREAT and Yantai Haiyi Software.

Project Effect

Project Expectations
At present, 3,365 self-recovery feeders have been put into service in Foshan, and the self-recovery coverage rate of distribution network has reached 77.25%. The self-recovery coverage ranks first in China Southern Power Grid. It is expected that the coverage rate in Foshan will reach 100% in 2021.
