As the bell of 2021 rings, there is again good news from Wisdom. Among the Proposed Winners List of Yantai Award for Innovation-driven Development published on the website of Yantai Municipal People’s Government, Wisdom was awarded “Yantai Innovation-driven Leading Company”. 

It is understood that the selection criteria for Yantai Innovation-driven Leading Companies are: Enterprises with strong comprehensive strength, great social contributions, and an integrated development ability leading in the industry; enterprises with a great leadership in innovation, and enterprises with proprietary intellectual property rights or core technologies, and obvious high-level talent gathering effect. Wisdom’s success is an affirmation and encouragement of its innovation-driven development strategy, and also an encouragement and hope for the company to give full play to its leading role to drive the rapid and high-quality economic development in Yantai. 

So far, Wisdom has had a country-level enterprise technology center, a country-level Postdoctoral Programme, and five “province-level” innovation platforms; it has undertaken a number of scientific research projects such as National Key Technology R&D Program, 863 Plan, and National Important Science and Technology Projects; it has won dozens of awards including China Patent Awards, China Mechanical Industry Science and Technology Award, and provincial and municipal science and technology awards; it has led and participated in the compilation of 69 national and industry standards, and won more than 200 intellectual property rights such as patent and software copyrights. It plays an important role in promoting technological innovation in the industry, and its R&D level is in a leading position. 

In the future, Wisdom will continue following the “three leading and one top class” strategic requirement, implementing the “market-guided product-leading strategy”, and taking “the driving force of innovation” as the first force for development, industrial upgrading, and quality improvement and efficiency increase in this industry. It will take “transformation and upgrade” as the underlying guide, and strive to improve the innovation vitality and ability. It will play the leading, demonstrative and guiding role of a leading enterprise, and contribute to the high-quality development of Yantai’s economy while improving its own comprehensive competitiveness.
