Recently, E.Tiger, a domestic professional power and electrical B2B platform, surveyed and released the list of bid winners of the State Grid Corporation in 2020, including centralized bidding of materials, bidding of contracted inventory materials, bidding of contracted inventory of distribution network materials, competitive negotiation procurement. In 2020, there were 5,724 bid winners of the power companies of State Grid in 27 cities and provinces, which was 1,000 more than that in 2019. Among more than five thousand companies, both Dongfang Electronics Co., Ltd. (DFE) and Yantai Dongfang Wisdom Electric Co., Ltd. (WISDOM) were among the top ten of the bidder winners, ranking the third and ninth respectively.  

Among 5,724 bid winners, 2,534 enterprises only won one bid, 1,047 enterprises won 2 bids, 559 enterprises won 3 bids, 367 enterprises won 4 bids, 236 enterprises won 5 bids, 162 enterprises won 6 bids, 125 enterprises won 7 bids, 90 enterprises won 8 bids, 86 enterprises won 9 bids, and 62 enterprises won 10 bids. There were 456 enterprises that have won more than 10 bids, which well reflected the “winner-takes-all” phenomenon in the smart grid industry. 

Among them, NARI-TECH Nanjing Control Systems Ltd. won 458 bids, which ranked the first; Nanjing NR Electric Co., Ltd. won 224 bids, ranking the second; Dongfang Electronics Co., Ltd. (DFE) won 204 bids, ranking the third; it won the bids of 26 province-level power companies except State Grid Ningxia Electric Power Co., Ltd.; XJ Group Corporation won 199 bids, ranking the fourth; Beijing Smartchip Micro-electronics Technology Co., Ltd. won 157 bids, ranking the fifth; Beijing Sifang Relay Protection Engineering Co., Ltd. won 132 bids, ranking the sixth; Guodian Nanjing Automation Co., Ltd. won 129 bids, ranking the seventh; CYG Sunri Co., Ltd. won 125 bids, ranking the eighth; Yantai Dongfang Wisdom Electric Co., Ltd. won 114 bids, ranking the ninth; It won the bid of 26 province-level power companies except State Grid Gansu Electric Power Company; Xianheng International Corporation won 109 bids, ranking the tenth.
